What do I do to fix? After upgrading to macOS Sierra I can no longer connect to my shared printers on my old mac mini running 10.6.8

Help I can no longer connect to my shared printers on my mac mini running 10.6.8. After upgrading to 10.12 on my MacBook pro it says the printers are not connected.
